The Coordination of the IMISCOE Research Network moves to Rotterdam
The IMISCOE Research Network will be coordinated from Rotterdam (the Netherlands) as of April 2014. The IMISCOE Board of Directors meeting of 28 August in Malmö (Sweden) named Maurice Crul, Han Entzinger and Peter Scholten of the Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) as the new team responsible for the operations of the network. Within EUR, the network will be hosted by the Citizenship, Migration and the City (CIMIC) programme of the Faculty of Social Sciences. CIMIC is already a well-known and respected research group in the field of migration and integration. With the network and with the support and collaboration of the City of Rotterdam, it hopes to expand further to become an international hub of research in this field.
